so you might have noticed the pic and link in my sig, and wondered what's up with all that?

turns out Guitar Center is having a big contest and whoever wins gets to record an EP with Slash and a famous producer, along with all sorts of endorsements. well, as i went 'meh' to the ad when it hit my porch, Patrick E had already seen it and signed us up.

so i played along. i added 3 tunes to the page and after the UN ratified the use of compression on our songs (it just seemed like a long time for them to post, that's all) they are available to hear and vote on.

a girl i know said she signed up and tried to vote but she couldn't. she never got the confirmation email, but then again, she said, yahoo mail has been goofy for her.

i know we have a snowball's chance in Arizona of winning, but you don't win if you don't play. you can vote every day until the contest ends, which i think is in March sometime. please vote for us, and maybe we can make something good happen!

a few days ago, for some reason, the site said that i didn't upload any MP3s, so it would kick people to the next random band on the list. i could see the MP3s right there in front of me, but it said that my registration was incomplete. it was late, so i figured i'd work on it the next day. i went to check it in the morning, and it was fine.

if you need to search manually, look for 'cavity' from princeton mn.

last time i looked, it worked fine.
